Dear Mindful Friends of The Ojas,
Wow, I can’t believe we have built friendships since February. Janet and I are so thrilled of the amazing feedbacks and support you have shared. It has been so wonderful that you embraced the Sound & Movement Therapy Workshops during which you allowed yourselves to explore the rhythm of your life and let your light shine. It was amazing that we noticed that we became more and more confident to share our deep self- reflective journey in our sound & Movement Therapy groups.
Thanks for taking the time to attend the recording “Live” sessions. The live sessions were not part of the Research Project but the recording sessions were more like exams for which I will be assessed for using the various techniques of my sound therapy school as well as for facilitating the 5Rs model. I will have to do a lot of editing as the first recording is of 3h; however the second recording lasts 1h40; the last recording was about 1h but unfortunately a participant felt unwell during the session, that was very unfortunate but it reminded us of our very first session when one of the participants did not resonate with the drums in general. Sunday was very emotional as it was our last session, nevertheless, it was so beautiful to glimpse into your talented self- reflective gifts, very moving, indeed!
What‘s happening next? We will be sending an invitation to our incredible Regulars to meet on Friday 20th May at 6:30pm to celebrate our Sound & Movement Therapy journey. We will be emailing you a RSVP form to confirm whether you are available to meet in order to raise our glasses cheerfully in a lovely location in Croydon.
In May, I will be back to teaching Yoga on Tuesday at lunchtime before the Meditation class at the Buddhist Centre where I will also start teaching a new evening class too. As soon as the Yoga & Marketing Teams publish the information on the website, I will come back to you to confirm date and time.
Following your lovely and constructive feedbacks, I am delighted to inform you that I will soon be delivering Chronic Pain sessions. The Chronic Pain sessions are delivered seated and the objectives are to increase our cardiovascular system, improve sleep as well as joint mobility. Also, I am very pleased to announce that Sound and Movement Therapy will resume in July.
