About the event
Dear Mindful Humans,
This is a mixed ability class, please complete the Health Questionnaire before joining the class; wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Be aware that the venues have stairs to access the dance space. This is an adult class. I believe that dance should be available to anyone, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you are encountering financial difficulties, with The Ojas Centre, we would like to support individuals from all walks of life: theojascentre@gmail.com
I am from mixed cultural heritages: from West Africa, Brazil, Guadeloupe, France & the UK and I also rejoice in South American and Oriental Dance styles to be reflected in the expression of the invisible voices. I embrace working on celebrating life as well as on social justice and conscious dance.
I am a qualified Dance Teacher and I am currently studying a MA in World Performance, Theatres & Cultures at Goldsmiths University and are looking for like- minded Humans who would like to deepen their connections with their body, mind, soul and ancestral heritages through dance.
